Anita created Charlie Bear's Nursery in 2015 and has continued to evolve the nurturing family environment of the nursery under our ethos of learning through play. Helping our bears to delight in development.
Anita lives in Seaford with her husband, 5 children and 3 dogs.

Chantelle has been a huge part of the Charlie Bear’s family since before we opened in 2015 and has 21 years of experience working as a nursery school practitioner. She also enjoys her role as a youth worker at our local youth centre. She grew up in South Africa but now lives in Seaford with her husband, 2 daughters and dog.

Our new early years teacher will be joining us very soon!

Zack has many years of practical experience caring for children including his 4 siblings and role as a youth worker at the Mercread youth club. Zack has been part of Charlie Bear’s since we opened, firstly as a volunteer whilst studying and a permanent part of the team since 2020. Zack utilises his film & and photographic talents for the nursery advertising and children’s portraits.

Sadie became a part of the Charlie bears family as staff after having had both her children attend as little bears, both now in school, Sadie has many years experience and has joined the team to work closely with our under two's leading our baby room.

She is currently training for Senco lvl3.

Becky has multiple years of experience in the childcare sector with a particular focus on children with SEND . She lives in Eastbourne with her partner and three daughters and is keen musical theatre lover and part of a local choir.

Abby lives in Seaford with her two children and partner, she love arts and crafts and getting the little ones involved in making a mess. Abby completed her level two under Kay Pauley the same tutor as Zack. 

Dan joins Charlie Bear's brining in his experience working with adults with learning difficulties and providing one to one support for those with complex needs. 

Dan hopes to continue his professional development into the early years sector.​

Kezia has been a part of the family since completing her GCSE's and works at Charlie Bear’s Nursery when not on studies at university or travelling the globe. Kezia has an interest in speech and language development.

Mia has been part of Charlie Bear's family for the past five years and is adored by all the little ones, when the garden is open Mia can often be seen keeping watch under the gate.
